I was deleting some...

I was deleting some old pictures, when suddenly my screen said I had no picture data. All was gone. How can I get them back?

Technician's Assistant: Who makes your camera?

It is a Nikon Coopix B500 Made in China

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far with your Nikon?

Nothing, I shut it down and put it in my suitcase. Now that I am home from my trip I have it on my computer desk.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Camera Expert to know before I connect you?

Just how, if possible to restore the pictures I took on my trip.

Now download the free program Recuva from here

https://filehippo.com/download_recuva

Click the download latest version top right

Install and open it

Select your memory card, choose the option for a deep scan and let it run

It can take some time but it will recover any files still recoverable on the card.

At the end it will ask you to choose where to recover them to, select for example your desktop and it will put them there.

Let me know please how you go or if you get stuck on any step

I downloaded the program but have no idea what to do next. Is this program going to mess up my computer?

You need to complete the rest of the instructions I wrote out for you..

There was a whole list I sent you to do

I can also do these steps for you, and have made a request via Additional Services. This is optional, and if you choose to do this, I can, with your permission, remote into your computer while you watch and do all these steps (and deal with any problems that arise during them) for you. Or if you do not choose to take this service, we can continue here. This is no problem at all. Just let me know please.

Is it $29. What does 100 percent satisfaction mean? If I don’ get my pictures back I will not be 100 percent satisfied.
