When I turn my Kodak Easy Share DX7630 on I get the message "High Camera Temperature, Camera will be turned off" The camera is in a room in the house (and ha always been when not in use) that stays cool. I love this camera and have had it about 12 years. Help, help!!

This message is normally related to battery temperature in the camera. When the lithium ion or Nicd cells in your camera start to break down it us usually accompanied by a buildup of heat.

Try replacing the battery with a good replacement battery. Try to get an OEM Kodak replacement or get one from a camera shop. There are a lot of Chinese knock offs for sale online and they are sometimes not as good and can be dangerous.
