Just got a new...

Just got a new TS9210 printer. It printed a few pages, now I can only get support code 1259 "The paper output tray is not pulled out correctly. Pull it out completely and tap OK". I've tried that many times, and also turned off and turned back on the printer. I don't think there's really a problem with paper tray. Is there a way to reset to get the code to go away?

Technician's Assistant: Is your printer displaying the error on all print jobs, even after you restart it?

Yes. I can't get it to do anything, its stuck at that error code.

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the printer driver software?

We just got the printer yesterday, it is brand new out of the box

There is no way to reset such a persistent, nagging, code appearance defect.

You will need to pack up the printer again - since you have indeed tried with the tray, quite enough - and in its original packaging, first contact the seller or vendor to leave a message at least, that you have been sold a defective printer and request to return it for exchange for another of the same model (or the same value and capabilities at least).

You have that right as a consumer, to return at once a defective or 'nagging' product that doesn't work top-notch. And that is a good description of this printer, as you have expained it to me, and have obviously been dealing with it for a while, before asking your question.
