I just returned from a trip to Africa. I looked at my pictures last night so the camera was working. However the battery died and now my Pixpro AZ421 will not charge so that I can transfer my pictures to my computer. What can I do? PLEASE HELP!!

Technician's Assistant: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?

I just purchased the camera from Amazon for the trip last month - so it is brand new. I don't have the box, but the camera states that it is a Pixpro AZ421. Where can I find additional information regarding the model without the box?

Technician's Assistant: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?

It just died. I have tried to make sure the connections were secure and plugging the camera into various sockets in my house.

This battery for sale:

is probably all you need to restore the camera to operating condition, and to getting the pictures downloaded.

(But even sooner, you *might* be able to hook up the camera, even with a dead battery, to the computer, and it might be that the power supplied through the USB cable would power up the camera enough to get the pictures off it.)

And also: If your camera was bought New, and within one year ago - it sounds as if it was - then it (or at last the battery) might be covered by warranty from Kodak. That is, if the battery came with the purchase, as opposed to being bought separately.

Now, I would also like to mention: *if* your camera has a memory card in it, you could buy a USB-plug-in card reader, to add to your computer if its card reader slot does not ready your camera's type of memory card, and the pictures could be gotten off the camera that way also.
