I have a sony camera that needs repair, memory card does not stay in place. can you repair?

Technician's Assistant: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?

DSC HX300

Technician's Assistant: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?

No toubleshooting don't know how. Don't want to do more damage. the camera is about 2 years old.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Camera Expert to know before I connect you?

If the memory card will not stay in, when inserted, then your camera's memory card slot probably has a defective or broken spring or latch. To repair it yourself would not be likely to be successful, so sending it out for repair would be advisable.
