We have a Canon...

We have a Canon Power Shot A630. It has stopped working. The ON/OFF (green light) functions, but the lens area does not open and extend in order to take photos. Where can we take the camera to have it repaired.

Technician's Assistant: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?

Canon p9wer Shot A630 approximately 10 yo.

Technician's Assistant: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?

No troubleshooting tried. The lens area extension/retracker was working just fine previous weekendl Not knowledgeable enough to trouble shoot.
