I cannot achieve connectivity...

I cannot achieve connectivity from canon power shot g10 to my laptop using the interface cable. the laptop will make the recognition sound but will not do anything elese- like it is frozen. battery re-charged.

I have 3 pictures in the camera that will not xfer to laptop. have deleted old pictures.

I was able to connect the camera to laptop by going into the Computer and clicking on Removable Storage. Problem is solved.
