Where can I get an adapter for the SB-29 ring flash to fit

Customer Question

Where can I get an adapter for the SB-29 ring flash to fit the 105mm macro lens? It is a 52mm to 58mm adapter
JA: Who makes your camera?
Customer: All nikon parts
JA: What have you tried so far with your Nikon?
Customer: I understand that Nikon does not make the SB-29 ring flash anymore. I have not contacted Nikon but was told at a store it was not available
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Hi. My name is*****'m a camera repair technician with almost 30 years in the business and I'll be glad to help you with your question today.

Yes, it's possible. What you need is a step-up ring from 52mm to 58mm. These are available from a variety of sources but just to give you an idea, here's a link to a page full of them.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xnikon+step+up+rings.TRS0&_nkw=nikon+step+up+rings&_sacat=0

Please provide a positive Rating so that I may be credited for my efforts.
If I can be of further assistance, please ask rather than leave a negative response.

Thank You

Rick

I understand about step up rings. The question is still where do I get a ring flash adapter that fits the Nikon SB-29 even if it is a 58mm?

Not really. I need the connector for that unit, not an entirely new SB-29. The connector is pictured in that item posting
