I purchased a Canon Power Shot SX530HS today. When I turn it on it does not display the set time and date screen.
JA: What's the make/model of your camera? How old is it?
Customer: I just sent it to you
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?

It may be someone has already set the time and date...

You can change it by going through the menu options... But if you want to see that set time and date screen on power up you have to remove the camera battery for 30 minutes or so...

If the camera is left with a charged battery in, it doesn't produce this message on power up
