Customer Question

hello, i have a JVC GR-DVX 400E camcorder/camera with a SD-card of 32GB and my camcorder shows this 'Card Error' message, i tried to format it on my laptop but nothing helps
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: and according to the manuel of my camcorder it says that it has to be either a Scandisk sd-card(wich it is i have) or either the standard JVC Sd-Card(wich i also have but no single problems)
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: i tried to format the ScanDisk sd-card on my laptop wich succesfully happened and i inserted it in my camcorder again and then i keep getting this message and before that nothing happened because i had the other sd-card(jvc) still inserted before this Scandisk one
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: just how to get the Scandisk Sd-card wotking on my camcorder

If a known good card is working on the laptop but not in the camera then the camera's card reader is suspect. It may have a bent or broken contact pin. Try using a flashlight to examine inside the card holder slot.
