Second opinion] My Toshiba Camileo X200 does not turn on

Customer Question

Second opinion] My Toshiba Camileo X200 does not turn on even with fully charged batteries or just the charger. I haven't used it for a year or so but it worked fine last time. We got twin babies and like to record their first moves.
JA: What's the make and model of your tv, and has turning it on been a problem in the past?
Customer: It is a Camcorder Toshiba Camileo X200 ' about 3 years old
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Fully charged the batteries to 3.7 V, reformatted the memory card in my PC but still not working
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no, tks

Hi John
I already replaced the battery and the new one is correctly charged at 3.7V. Still dead. I tried all solutions that are freely available on the Internet to no avail and just hoped that you guys might now a magic trick to wake up this camera. A lot of people seem to have the same problem but no one has a solution. I hoped I can use the camcorder to take shots of our new twin girls but it looks I may have to buy a new one unless...
Any other idea?

Hi John
I cannot rate you before a solution to the problem is found. As I said, I already changed the battery, however, perhaps you know if the internal battery that may also be dead, can be replaced. If I don't get the issue resolved today I just have to buy a new camera which is a shame as this one was used just once!
So, any other ideas?
