Customer Question

SORRY - IT'S MY PRINTER THAT I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH - SORRY
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: iT IS AN mx922
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: It is showing a 5100 Support code. I have shut it off and and unplugged it, pushed the stop button, looked for jams and checked the ink. Problem is it is the code that was on the printer when I upacked it from the box and I can't get the printer software downloaded until the code is cleared.
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?

Hello, and thank you for using this service.
I will help you now.

Please inspect and clean the inside of the printer with a flashlight. Pay close attention to the carriage area. If you have compressed air, use it to further clean out the inside of the printer. Remove all ink cartridgles, and reinstall. Finally, unplug printer, and hold power button down for at least 30 seconds. Then plug back into power. Let me know results of these steps. Thanks.
