Does not open properly and shuts down, Numbers are too small

Customer Question

Does not open properly and shuts down
JA: What's the make/model of your camera? How old is it?
Customer: Numbers are too small to read, about 3 years old. WB 100?
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: In the middle of the day it quit on me. Have changed the batteries out and used a little bit of WD 40 about 5 minutes ago
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

If it is the lens getting stuck, please try sliding a piece of paper between the sections of the lens. While doing this, hold the face of the camera down. It only takes something the size of a grain of sand to cause this to happen.
