Customer Question

JA: Hi. How can we be of help?
Customer: I have a canon eos rebel sl1 that won't let me change the aperture I get a message that states cannot adjust aperture no lens attached. I have tried 4 lenses all of which worked yesterday.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: Canon EOS Rebel SL1
JA: What happened right before this popped up? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Just attached the lens and tried taking pictures. I have made sure that the contacts are clean and unobstructed and not bent. I was playing with settings so I don't know if I turned something off.
JA: Anything else you want the camera expert to know before I connect you?

Hi there and welcome

Can you remove the battery please then hold the shutter button down for 60 seconds then release.

Wait 5 minutes, put the battery back in and try to turn it on.

Tell me please if it now operates correctly

Thank you
