Hello and welcome to JustAnswer, I look forward to assisting you today. Feel free to disregard the Premium Service Offer. That is an automated popup initiated by the web site. Please give me a minute to review your question.

Have you tried removing the card from slot #2 and inserting it in slot #1?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, I didn't. I was expecting a more subtle proceedure. I don't want to take a chance on that. And maybe the cards have been electronically labeled as Card #***** and Card #*****

Card #***** plays a backup roll to card #***** and will only be used if #1 is full. You can also try inserting the card directly into your computer and transferring the photos that way.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't want to do that. Isn't there a button or command to get the camera to switch from Card#2 to Card#1?

Not as far as I can tell. The cards are meant to work as a pair when used together. #2 will be used either as a overflow to #1 or as a backup of duplicated images from #1 if you have it set for that. If there are photos on the #2 card that are not on the #1 card, then the only way I see of transferring them would be to insert the card into your computer.

If you would like any additional information regarding your question, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Is there any other way, without removing the cards?

Let me research this a bit more to see what I can come up with.

About the only option I can find is the ability to move the images from the #2 card to #1. Would that be of any help?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No thanks. OK thanks for your help. Sincerely, ***** *****

You're welcome. Unfortunately that is the only way you can change cards inside the camera.
