I have a Nikon D5. When I format the memory card (CF) images

Customer Question

I have a Nikon D5. When I format the memory card (CF) images remain on the card; however, when I press the review button, it indicates folder contains no images. The display in the screen on top of the camera reveals that there are images on the card. I also tried to delete the folder that shows up in Mac Finder on the card - after deleting, the display still indicates the same number of images remaining on the card, and the card fills up as though images are on it when I start.

Hello, my name is Rusty. That is very strange, when pictures are deleted, they are still on the card, but they are written over as you take new pictures. On your Mac, format the card, and tell me if they still appear.
