Customer Question

I have an Olympus SP-560UZ, purchased in 2010. While on vacation last week, I took several photos that turned out fine, but then I noticed that when looking through the viewfinder, the image was very distorted, looking more like sound waves on a graph than the object I was aiming at. This happened suddenly. Any thoughts?

Hi there,

I am Pete, and I'll be happy to assist with your question today.

You may need to adjust the viewfinder’s diopter on your Olympus camera. To the left of the viewfinder eyepiece cup is the diopter adjustment dial. While looking through the viewfinder, rotate the diopter adjustment dial until you can see the AF frame clearly in the center of the viewfinder.

Let me know if that helps?
