I have a JVC EVERIO GZ-MS 120RAG and have video from several overseas trips BUT cannot get to sync with my Apple computer .... as I have now retired have time to sit & format footage SO can you please advise ANY way I van transfer footage to Apple Mac?

What movie software will you be using? You will need to check if the JVC camcorder is compatible with it.

For example, if you are using iMovie11, you can check here:

iMovie 10.1.2 .... when I open Camcorder icon on screen comes up with 2 formats - 1. Cam event.XML 2. SD VIDEO ... black slide on screen says EXEC

Ok, can you try selecting the Cam event.XML format and execute that?

if I try to execute event.XML all I get is series of black photo icons with EXEC .... will not open or do anything beyond that!
