Customer Question

Why won't my AF Nikkor 80-200mm 1:4.5-5.6D not auto focus. I have been manually focusing on my Nikon D80 and Nikon D3300 or on my daughters D3100? It auto focuses perfectly using my AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm Nikon DX VR.

Hi Gail,

Try removing the lens and clean the contacts on both the lens and the camera body.

Then securely reattach the lens again.

Let me know if that works?
