I have tried the EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard and found none of the photo files I needed. They did however recover deleted files from the past. Just a note that the files I now need to recover are from a Canon Rebel camera. The files that were recovered were all taken from a Sony A5000 mirrorless digital camera. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Not all photo recovery software will be successful.

The important thing is to STOP using the card and do not save any more photos on it until you recover the missing ones.

If EaseUS Data Recovery did not work then you could try a different recovery software, e.g. 7DataRecovery:

If using other software doesn't work either, then you could try sending the SD card to a data recovery center which guarantees their results, e.g.
