My FUJI FinePix S602 Zoom Camera needs a new battery door.

Customer Question

My FUJI FinePix S602 Zoom Camera needs a new battery door. Can you help ?
JA: What's the exact make and model of the camera? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: CE No. 2FA08322 also has numbers below the CE #'s BB13211-200.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I've just started trying. Camera might be approx 10 years old but like new, very little use.
JA: The camera expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: Just if he knows where I can buy the battery cover.
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Camera Technician about your situation and then connect you two.

Hi, my name is ***** ***** I'd love to help you with getting your camera up and running.

I have three routes for you to get your camera fixed:

  • Local camera shop (guessing since you are on this site looking for help, that's not very useful as a suggestion, but sometimes people don't think of this option)
  • contacting FUJI service - my experience is a lot of companies don't list parts on their website but are willing to send them to you if you call and ask:
  • I found one on this 3rd party website: (I'm not endorsing it, nor have I purchased from them, but they appear to have the part you need)

If this answers your question, I'd really appreciate it if you would rate my answer. If not, please let me know how I can be of further help for your issue. Thanks and hope you are taking great pictures soon!

Whoops, I thought of another idea for you - when my wife's old camera broke, I found one on ebay that was cheap because the lens motor had died so the person was trying to sell a broken camera. If you can find someone with the same model that is selling the camera cheap you can use it for parts if the battery door on their camera is intact.

I am a bit confused, did I not answer your question to your satisfaction? I thought I provided some options for you to get the answer you wanted.

I would appreciate a positive rating if you agree I did answer your question. I am not an employee of Just Answer, I am an independent professional and I am only paid if you provide a positive rating for this question.

If you signed up for an ongoing subscription instead of a single question and want to cancel I totally understand. You would want to contact Just Answer customer service. As a favor, here is the page to contact them:
