I bought my camera last year on Amazon. Just a couple wks

Customer Question

Hello. I bought my camera last year on Amazon. Just a couple wks ago I tried taking photos for my daughters bday and my Fujifilm INSTAX Mini 90 Instant Film Camera is not working correctly. I finished off my last 2 photos and then replaced the cartridge with a new one. I placed it inside and nothing came out. Usually that black cartridge cover comes out first. I had to open it up & the camera door would not open. I tried to pry it open softly but it wouldnt open. I turned it on and off and nothing happened. It seemed to be stuck. I then got it to open after a few tries and had to expose the film which was a brand new pack. Then i investigated the camera without any film and turned it on and off. There was no film so i couldn't tell. So i put a new pack of film inside and it did the same thing. Jammed. Nothing came out. Same thing happened. I didn't want to waste anymore film so i decided i'd give it a break. Therefore, while being on line, i was reminded of this issue and decided to ask for help. Hopefully, i'll get the help i need. thanks! ***** ***@******.***

There are several different types of film for the various camera models. Are you absolutely certain that the cartridge you purchased is the correct one? Also, is it original Fuji brand or third party? If it is third party, I would suggest replacing it with Fuji to see if that resolves the issue. Otherwise, it may be a hardware failure which will need repair.
