Hi there and welcome
Can you remove the battery please then hold the shutter button down for 60 seconds then release.
Wait 5 minutes, put the battery back in and try to turn it on.
Tell me please if it now starts and functions correctly please
Thank you

Your solution didn't work. How much am I paying for this Q & A given that the suggestion didn't work?

I never heard back from your Greg, can I ask why you did not simply reply with this message?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I don't know how to respond. Is this the correct forum? What is "simply reply with this message?" This is confusing as hell. I have no idea how this is supposed to work, and I don't know how to "simply reply with this message". What button do I click?
Expert:  Richard replied 1 year ago.

you just replied Greg. by typing a message and clicking send, thats how you reply. Nothing else is needed to be done.

Your solution didn't work. The display is almost totally dark. Then why are you asking me why I didn't simply reply to this message? What is going on here?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
You have charged me $5 plus $14 and I have gotten nothing out of this. I'm going to refuse the charges on my credit card or else you can do the right thing and reverse the charges. Do not charge me again. This is the most confusing and sneaky deal I have ever been involved with. How do you get way with all of these hidden charges? Why hasn't the BBB shut you down?
