On my Canon SX160 IS Camera, when I set the date/time - the date is printed on the picture but not the time - why?

Hello and thank you for your question, I look forward to assisting you today. From the research I have, this camera doesn't appear to have that function and will only print the date.

Expert:  Russell A. replied 1 year ago.

Please access the menu and continue to arrow to the right passed "Date" to "Date & Time".

See the attached detailed instructions from the manual.

Please keep in mind that my diagnosis & solutions provided are directly dependent on the accuracy of your description of the problem. As with any "do it yourself" fixes, success is a "team effort", since I can't see or touch the camera, and relies on the customer's manual dexterity and ability to follow the instructions well. If the "do it yourself" approach doesn't work out for you and you need conventional repair, please let me know.

Your answers are wrong about this camera. Go to camera not tools, scroll down to date and bring up time too; then hit menu and the date and time will print on the pictures. Sorry you didn't help me - I had to contact Canon direct for my answers.

I apologize. I simplified the answer too much. When I said to arrow to the right I incorrectly assumed that you would be at the point shown in the pictured instructions. Sorry.
