i have a a6000 and I'm attempting to download pics to an iPad or imav pro via usb cable. The message on the camera is "usb connecting". However after waiting a reasonable amount of time it did not connect to either device. In the past this was not a problem

Hi there! My name is***** am a computer professional with over 15 years of experience with both Mac and Windows computers, phones, tablets, and printers, and most importantly to you today, I am a complete digital photography nut! It would be my pleasure to assist you with this. iPads don't have usb ports. You'll need something like this lightning-to-usb-camera-adapter in order to transfer directly from your camera to your iPad. Your iMac pro should have a usbplug but you'll need to connect the camera to the iMac with a usb cord, in order to transfer the photo. You may also need special software. If you'd like, I can offer the PREMIUM SERVICE of a SECURE REMOTE CONNECTION. This will allow me to connect to your iMac while the camera is plugged in and help you to transfer the photos. This is completely optional. If you do not choose to take this service, I will walk you through a solution step by step here.
