Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’ll be assisting you today. My livelihood depends on your positive feedback, so your satisfaction is my highest priority. Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. Have you tried putting in a new battery yet?If you have a non rechargeable battery in it that is dead, or if you have a rechargeable one that is fault or can no longer hold a charge, even when on usb or the power adapter, the recorder would fail to work.Try inserting a new battery first, and let me know if that helps. Thanks,Nathan

Are you using only the internal memory, or do you have a micro sd memory card in it?

I’ve attempted to accept your call request, but it appears to have failed on your end due to a payment issue. You may need to increase your deposit or clear a security hold on your account.

Sure, we can continue here. You don't need to pay more, but I do need a few moments to compose a detailed response.

Unfortunately, all signs at this point indicate an internal hardware defect, and using only internal memory significantly limits our options here. Insert another new battery, this time just a regular AAA alkaline type (duracell/energizer/etc).Plug the recorder into the computer via usbslide and hold the power button on the side, along with the OK button on the front, and hold those together for 30 seconds. If still nothing responds, it would confirm a hardware fault, meaning the unit is internally damaged. If you had a memory card, that could be removed and accessed separately.Without one, the recorder would need to go in for repairs to replace the faulty circuitry, which may or may not preserve the recordings.Beyond that, the recorder would have to go to a data recovery specialist to recover the recordings, which is typically not feasible ($500+ in cost). I can help with contact info for repairs or data recovery if you wish to pursue either. If you can afford to lose the data, you'd be better off scrapping this unit and buying a new recorder. I can recommend replacement models as well, but no matter what route you go I'd encourage you to use external memory to prevent future data losses. Best regards, ***** ***** for the news,Nathan
