I have had my Nikon D5200 for 3+ years and I I've never really had a problem like this before
When I take a picture of just can to look at my previous shots the camera says, "playback not currently available!"
Please please help

I apologize. I thought I had already answered your question. This error can happen if you are using the Wi-Fi feature. I would suggest disabling that to see if it changes the air. If you are just using standard storage, then the problem can be caused by the playback folders not being set to the same folder as the current recording folder or save folder. These options are in the setup. What can happen is the camera will create new sequential folders for files to be placed in once there are a certain number of pictures taken. At this point, the saved folder can become different from the play that folder causing the error.
