Customer Question

I have a Canon T2i. In manual mode my AV setting says FOO. What is that and how do I get out of it?

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question. It depends upon where exactly you see the FOO - and also, whether your manual focusing works OK anyway. Note: this camera body the T2i has a removable and changeable lens assembly that can fit on it. What lens assembly are you using currently? FOO... at a guess (since I find no references to it, not knowing where on your screen it shows up) FO refers to FOcus, and the last O... might be 'Out', if Manual Focus isn't working. If manual focus works OK (and the camera in general works OK) and the FOO message goes away in non-Manual modes, I wouldn't worry about it.
