Hello and Welcome. My name is ***** ***** I'll assist you today. I'm sorry you're having trouble with it. I need additional info to troubleshoot the issue.- Does your computer has SD memory card slot or do you have memory card reader? Thanks.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
My computer does not have any memory slots per se: Only a front USB. My camera normally connected to this via a suitable cable. As soon as connected, the screen produced instructions as what to do. Follow these and the pictures were downloaded to a pre-selected file. Now, nothing happens since I changed to Windows 10.

I understand, do you have a memory card reader device?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, I do not and don't need one (for anything else?)

I'm not trying to sell a memory card reader, in fact I'm trying to help you out, since we haven't had good start to troubleshoot the issue so I feel uncomfortable to continue, I'm opting out to repost this question for other experts to have a look and to assist you further.Thanks.

Hi, Canon has provided new instructions for downloading photos to Windows 10 computers. Please see the link below If a search box comes up on the page just type in "Windows 10" and that will take you to the information. Please keep in mind that my diagnosis & solutions provided are directly dependent on the accuracy of your description of the problem. As with any "do it yourself" fixes, success is a "team effort", since I can't see or touch the camera, and relies on the customer's manual dexterity and ability to follow the instructions well. If the "do it yourself" approach doesn't work out for you and you need conventional repair, please let me know.If you require additional information, please use the Reply to Expert Tab to contact me.
