Customer Question

I have been connecting my canon EOS (purchased in about 2004ish) to both my Mac and PC, which I have done in the past successfully. Now, when attaching and trying to download pics, my camera flashes "busy" for a few minutes and then shuts off. Nothing pops up asking me to import pics. Any ideas?

Hello Lori and thank you for your question. I look forward to assisting you today. There is a possibility it could be either the USB cable or the SD card in the camera. Try removing the card and inserting it directly into your PC to see if you can copy the photos that way. If that works, you may want to consider purchasing a new SD card for your camera.
