I am using Nikon D7200 in Raw mode. I am trying to use Nikon

Customer Question

I am using Nikon D7200 in Raw mode. I am trying to use Nikon Capture NX-D to process the raw images, save them, convert to JPG and save those. I am not able to use the exposure compensation, the white balance, the Picture Control, camera and lens corrections, quick adjust, sharpening and clarity, and I'm probably unable to do something I don't know about yet. I can use tone, brightness and saturation, noise reduction intensity and sharpness, tilt, and some I haven't found yet. Before this I used Nikon transfer, saved and then opened and clicked on the images I wanted. They opened in a very much easier to use raw processing page that had all the controls I need and much faster--so far...Can you help me? Thanks, James

Hi, thank you for contacting My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.

Nikon Transfer may be downloaded, to install (on either Windows PCs or Apple computers) here:

If you need to change your system configuration (in a minor aspect of it) so that Nikon Transfer opens automatically when your camera is connected to your computer, rather than Nikon Capture NX-D, just let me know what computer you have (Windows, or Apple, and what version of Windows or MAC OS X is on it) and I will advise you how to do that (or if you want, remote-control your computer if it is a Windows PC, and do it for you, once you have installed Nikon Transfer.)

If Nikon Transfer is already installed on your computer, then I can help you configure it to open automatically in that case, too, I think.

Let me know, please. Thanks.
