After I take a picture, it doesn't really take the picture

Customer Question

after I take a picture, it doesn't really take the picture but the screen reads:
"File contains no image data". Does that mean it is full Also, does this camera take more than a 4 GB memory card.

The error indicates that there was a problem writing the image data to the card.

What capacity card are you attempting to use, a 4gb or smaller?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am using a 4GB card.

OK, due to the fact that this camera was manufactured during a transitional period of memory card file formats, there can be an issue with the specific brand of 4gb cards. It is quite possible that the write to card process is not functioning properly.

If the camera will allow you and you have not already done so, use the camera menu Format (Instructions attached) to format the card and try a few shots after it completes and please let me know the result.
