I have a nikon p520...
I have a nikon p520 camera. It turns on but within a few seconds the screen goes black but the on/off button is still illuminated?
Any ideas what the problem might be.?

Hi there and welcome

Just to check, when you say SIM card which is for a phone, you mean SD card correct? The memory card?

If so, can you remove the battery from the camera then hold the shutter button down for 60 seconds then release.

Put the battery back in, turn it on and tell me how it then functions please

When the screen goes black, can you still take a photo?

I have 3 batteries, none of them make a difference.

It is the internal mainboard that has faulted.

We have ruled out all other causes for this

I am really sorry about this and you are going to have to return the camera to have this replaced. It will be covered by the warranty if this has not expired, and the replacement will be done at no cost to you.
