It wouldn't be possible to know the cost before knowing what exactly is wrong with it. The first thing I would check is to make sure there is nothing obstructing the shutter physically. You've already done the cleaning of the contacts - if you have done that on the lens contacts as well, then you have done all the contacts I would normally suggest checking. If you will want to have the repair done for you rather than doing it yourself, I can recommend a place to contact to have it repaired if you would like. If that's the case, just let me know where you live so I can find a place nearby.
