Using my Olympus E-M5 filming a stage performance the members appear washed out in a white color when viewing the performance?

That could be a matter of simply the f-stop setting (the 'exposure' that is.) High-contrast settings could result in 'overexposure' of the brighter parts of the framing.

But it could also be a matter of adjusting the White Balance setting.
