Hi,

If you have put a new, empty card in the camera then the camera is operating properly in playback mode since there are no photo files on the card. Once you return to shooting mode it should operate normally and after taking a few shots the "No Image" message should be gone. Please let me know the result.

Please keep in mind that my diagnosis & solutions provided are directly dependent on the accuracy of your description of the problem. As with any "do it yourself" fixes, success is a "team effort", since I can't see or touch the camera, and relies on the customer's manual dexterity and ability to follow the instructions well. If the "do it yourself" approach doesn't work out for you and you need conventional repair, please let me know.

What is the capacity, in gb and type SD, SDHC, or SDXC of the original and the new card?

Is the switch on the card in the unlock position?
