Customer Question

I have a clarion fx 503 and the clarion cc510 camera. When i connect the accessory lead from the camera to the accessory wire in my dash it seems to draw all the power from the head unit and it shuts down. Also i turned on the power to my head unit and didn't realize the ground was not connected and the unit still turned on.

Hello. My name is Michael. I can help you with your question if you still need assistance.

First, you have to make sure the ground is connected for the head unit - this is VERY important.

Also, you must have the ground connected for the camera. Make certain you have good ground for both. Then check your fuses and give it another try. It's possible that you blew a fuse doing this, but if they are grounded and you replace the fuses you should be ok. Let me know.
