I seem to have most lenses K3. I find the 18-50 F2.8 sigma

Customer Question

I seem to have most lenses for the K3. I find the 18-50 F2.8 sigma lens the most useful. Do you have any recomendation for a better combination? I know this hard to beat. I shoot variety of photos, but being a Pentax freak, like it.
Have not been able to update firmware. Any clues please? Dave

The firmware for the K3 is here

The choice of lenses is more of a personal preference for what you are shooting. Personally I am more mid range than macro like your 18 to 50. If you have a converter ready you can use it in a pinch instead of hauling all the lenses around. Provided you don't mind loosing depth of field.

Got most lenses. Trying for F2.8. depth of field and bouquet forgive misspelling.. I guess I've oversupply of lenses. Adict. Willing to buy more useful range. I'm here late at night, my time. Rambling on. hoping to get a nice combination tele. recommendation. Do some good work with what I have. Carting around constant F2.8 x 200mm a chore, considering I have had 2 fairly serious operations on my right wrist, which encumbers me..I've been using Olympus OM1 to get by, but would desperately like to use K3. I've lot invested in this. 2 sons are Cannon men. 3rd Nikon. (national buyer for Camera House) Need to think about this. A lot of money to change. Full frame heavier, given my right hand damage. Over 70 years. I find APS,c good enough for the poster size. Serious thought taking place. Thanks for help..Cameras like children. Loth to let them go and still have issue with hand and wrist. Recommend a light enough Cannon??

Better to become a South paw! I like Nikon but they are not cheap.. Canon eos6 is a good feather weight but if you add 1KG in lens then you have no gained any benefit
