Canon s95 flash pops up but will not fire

Canon s95 flash pops up but will not fire

Hi there,

Check that the flash is FULLY extended - try holding it up as you press the shutter button.

If it is not fully up, the sensor will think that it is still closed and it will not fire.

Let me know if it fires when you hold it up?
