Hi. My name is*****'m a camera repair technician with over 20years in the business and I'll be glad to help you with your question today.

This will require replacing the lens assembly. It can be done, but it can get expensive and really isn’t a user serviceable problem and should be repaired by a qualifie t echnician. You may want to check locally for a camera repair shop in your area, or, ifyou need assistance finding a shop, please let me know and I'll locate one for you.

Below is a link to a directory of repair shops, one of whichshould be in your area and able to help you.

Thanks, Rick. Need to know of a good place to contact who would be reasonable on the price to fix this critter. I live in a small rual area and we have nothing here. Thanks for your help. Jim.

Upon doing some research, I find that parts are no longer available for this model and the only way to repair it would be with a used lens assembly from a salvaged camera. the part will run about $25, installation would run about $65 and shipping will run about $15 which brings the cost of repairing your camera to over $100. The camera can be repaired but it may not be cost effective.
