Customer Question

My Fuji Camera won't take pics unless memory card is in. I lost my memory card, does Fuji SLR camera back-up the photos or are they gone? Don't the police have some sort of forensic software that lifts pics from camera even though they were not saved to the camera hard drive?

Hello there and welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. I am an engineer with over 30 years of electrical and electronic training, repair and installation experience. I will try and answer your question accurately and precisely so that we can get you on your way.

SLR cameras typically do not have their own memory. They rely on a memory card on which to record image files. If you have lost the card and did not copy the image files to a computer, then I am sorry to say that there is no way to recover the image files.

I know that this is not the news that you wanted to hear. I am sorry.

Please let me know if you have any further questions. I'll be here if you need help in any way.
