I have a Nikon CoolPix P530. I somehow have a "protected photo" I am trying to erase. It will not let me. Every time I want to take a picture, I have to wait for this photo to disappear before my shot will take. Can you tell me how to get this off my camera?

When you have the picture on screen, please go to the Playback menu and select "Unprotect". Please check the image I am attaching here.

You have this also in your Quick Start Guide (page 29). Let me know if you don't have it, so I can give you the link.

There isn't an unprotected button; only protected. I tried to toggle the protect button, but it only took me to the picture that is protected with a "check mark." I had tried this before and also studied the "Quick Start" section before I contacted you.

If you press Protected again, does it remove the check mark?
