Hate to tell you thjis, but the three cameras you specified

Customer Question

Hate to tell you thjis, but the three cameras you specified ... Coolpix S9900 ($299) Coolpix P900 (back order) Coolpix P610 ($429.95) ... are only capable of playing back RECORDED video to a TV. They cannot pass through LIVE video, which is what I need.
I talked to Nikon's tech support and they advised that none of these cameras can be used for either composite/analog or HD/HDMI streaming video. Gerry

That's the opposite of what Nikon told me. I asked specifically which cameras would work the way you want, and those were the three models she gave me. I'm sorry I passed along bad information, did they say which models are compatible?

I downloaded and read the manuals for each of these cameras. According to the manufacturer's manual, the video output is only active in playback mode. I followed up with a phone call to Nikon's tech support and was told that these are not streaming cameras. These are consumer cameras ... there are several pro (and some pro-sumer) models that are capable of live streaming, but they are all out of my budget range.
