Hi. My name is*****'m a camera repair technician with over 20years in the business and I'll be glad to help you with your question today.

This is a problem that will require a technicians touch to repair. The good news is , the camera is repairable. The bad news is, depending on where you get it repaired, it may cost more than the value of the camera. I repair these all the time and it will probably need a new circuit board and I'm not sure Nikon even trpairs them any more. I rely on parts in stock and other sources for parts now that Nikon has refused to sell parts to repair shops so parts are still available for repair.
