LUMIX DMC-TZ10 does not recognize the SD memory cards I have

Customer Question

LUMIX DMC-TZ10 does not recognize the SD memory cards I have been using in it. Instead, I get a message on the LCD screen "Pictures will be recorded to built-in memory".
Is there a fix for this?

Hello, I'm Shahid and will assist you.

This kind of problem occurs due to either bad memory card or bad contacts of memory card slot inside camera.

Please try another memory card in camera to see if camera recognize it?

If so then old memory card is bad as new will keep working in camera. If camera doesn't recognize new memory card then memory card slot contacts are defective and causing the problem (not making contact with memory card terminals thus camera doesn't sense the memory card) and memory card board in camera will be replaced, this work should be done by camera tech because camera will take apart in details for board replacement.

I trust my input will help you out. Please feel free to respond if you have any additional questions.
