Hello and thank you for your question, I look forward to assisting you today. Set your camera to Sports mode. That will give you the speed you need to capture fast moving objects.

Thank you for your fast response dan, i am definitely a newby at this and now nothing about the camera, where do i find sports mode, can get into the menu but that's about all. Regards Alicia

Do you see the dial on the top of the camera?

Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.

One of the settings on the dial will read Scene. Rotate the dial to that and let me know when you get there.

well, managed to do that without too much trouble. Alicia
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.

Okay good. Now press the menu button until you see the different selections then use the multi selector to change to the Sports setting.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
OK did that thankyou now to make sure i get back to the right place when not using this mode what do i do. Usually have the camera set on A as was told that on auto you cannot change anything. is this right.
Expert:  Dan replied 1 year ago.

That is true. When the camera is set to Auto, it makes all the decisions for you when taking the picture. All you need to do is turn the selector back to the A position.

Thankyou I paid $40 does that mean i can pick your brains for a month. Being 72 I probably should have gone out and bought an old brownie ha! On the other hand this could keep me occupied for quite some time. Once again thankyou. Alicia
