Customer Question

I just received a new Coolpix A33 camera that has a Transcend 300MB/s 200x 32GB memory card. After taking one picture I get a message on the screen saying "Out of Memory". Why did I get that message and how do I get the memory working. There is a small yellow tab on side of memory card that is apparently in the "unlock" position. That's the way it came. That tab can slide to an unlock position. I tried that and got the same result. I was planning on taking this camera on a trip on Wednesday. Please help.

The brass tabs should be on the bottom not the top. Did the card come with the camera? You also have to format the card in the camera...

The memory card only goes into the camera one way. The memory card I have did not come with the camera, so the problem may be that the card I was given is not be one of the "approved" cards listed in the manual. There are also no instructions regarding formatting the card. Thanks anyway.

Yes I suspect it is not the right card for that camera.
