My camera is letting me take pictures but will not let me see them. I have a cannon T5. can you please help me!

How old is your camera?

Also dies the display work at all?

And are the pics actually visible when you download them to a computer?

Please be descriptive as that could be one of many things.

The display, the memory etc?

My camera is just a couple of months old. The only button that works is the picture taking button. No other button works. Yes it does download pictures on my computer.

unfortunately this is known defect. It happened on some of these, they had a part that is failing way prematurely.

Its unfortunate but they really had no way the component was defective because it worked from the beginning,we call these parts the "walking dead". its problem in micro electronics. They will work for a while but fail for no reason other than i specific type of failure.

This one is fully covered anyway because your camera is so new.

Please contact them using either the warranty card info or the info in your user manual(guide).

It is the best way to get this taken care of quickly. Or some stores will exchange this anyway, Walmart will I know that.

If you can locate cannon's warranty dept please let me know.

In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete.

Hi good morning. I am just a technician with a lot of experience in these areas. I get compensated only when you rate my service to you. If you don't rate at all I recieve nothing for my time and effort with you. I did however let you know the best thing to do in this case, so please rate kindly. Many times I can walk the customer through a problem and solve it for them as I mentioned we can continue and I can get your camera working. But it will be at a cost to you if you continue this way because if you open the unit and replace parts you will in fact void your warranty. Then you would be responsible for any work needed. In your case however the best thing to do is tell the manufacturer replace the camera or repair it and they will ask you which you want?

I would recommend a new one since this is so new and I would want a working camera that I paid for lol;-)

I hope you understand Advice may not always be the one you want but I tell the truth and in this case I have given as always the best answer in this case.
