Nikon 5000-I am having a horrable time taking my Grandsons High School Nighttime Football pictures.I have cried many times because I am missing my Grandsons High School Football memories,Can you please please help me

Unfortunately taking sport shots at night is very difficult due to the low light levels... You need to use a fast shutter speed but you need good lighting for this which you just can't get under artifical lighting. You have to increase the ISO so much that the picture becomes very grainy... You will likely need an Iso of at least 1000 which is quite grainy, you will need to open the aperture fully to around 2 and then a shutter of at least 1000.
