Hi there, are you trying to use the HD Writer program with your Mac? Also, what version of iMovie do you have on your Mac?

You may have gone offline for now but I will leave you with some thoughts. This was compatible with iMovie 09 with limitations and I will list them below. In order to import your movies you would need to use iMovie. The HD Writer software that came with your unit was not supported by Apple OSx. With that said, you may not be able to import AVCHD scenes with iMovie’09 when both AVCHD scenes and MP4 scenes (included iFrame) are recorded on a single SD card. In such a case, first copy all the MP4 scenes data (included iFrame) to iMovie’09, delete all the MP4 scenes data on the SD card, and then import the AVCHD scenes with iMovie’09. If you have any further questions let me know, otherwise I would truly appreciate a positive rating. Thank you. Michael
